This class has been created for graduates of my Learn To Sew class or any beginner sewists out there keen to tackle their first sewing pattern.

Patterns available for you to borrow are 3 sweet n simple examples for beginners sewists to have a go at their first sewing pattern. Choose from either boxer shorts, a simple top, or a wide brimmed hat.
Over 2 evenings (4hrs) you can create one of the above with the support of your one-of-a-kind tutor with 10+ years experience teaching sewing in communities around NZ. I am your sustainable sewing sister, your personal hype girl, with great tunes, welcoming vibes and I will also do a little unpicking for you too x
Prep: Receive specialised support before you even get to class. I am here to help you choose from the 3 patterns available and find the best fabric.

Location: Social Fabric Room at the Creative Community Campus, 17th Ave, Tauranga.
All beginner sewists welcome but in order to be able to complete a project, some experience on the machine is necessary. If you've not sewn before, send me a message to join my next Sew From Scratch class.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring a sewing machine if you have one, but the room is fully set up with machines. Bring fabrics & a notebook if you find note-taking helpful for your learning experience. Some fabrics will be supplied too.
